Save the date in a unque way of sending out your invitations to your guests. It's a special engagement video put on a CD or DVD with a music video and interview with the bride and groom that your sending out to your guests asking them to save your wedding date in their calenders. These are great for playing at your receptions as well.

We also played this video at Francesca & Nick's wedding reception. It received an amazing reation from all of their guest. They really loved it.

Ula & Silvio Gomes High Def Wedding Video

Well, it's Christmas day and were all playing with our new toys. I got the the iPhone G3. Works great and alot of fun!

Anyway, I'm staring to upload our wedding videos in high def. to Vimeo. This is the first one so I hope i do it right. It's Ula & Silvio Gomes wedding that was in Sept '08 in Toronto.
It was a really fun day with a great couple with some really crazy friends. We laughed all day and even got some really cool shots. Heres the video that Adam and Jay shot using our Sony Ex1 and Brevis 35mm adaptor with canon lenses. We were also using a steadi-cam for the park location. Here's the link:

Merry Christmas

Wow, what a year this year with all the wedding video and photography. Boy it's fun being out trying new locations with fun couples. Very exciting with the new EX1 HD cameras and a great crew. I'm expecting even more new & exciting locations next year. I'll try to do a better job of posting next year. Maybe once a month or something. That might be to optimistic but i'll try my best. LOL.

Here's a couple pictures from some engagement shoots I did late this year. One was on some railroad tracks in Dane City and the other I did in the Gown & Gavel bar in Hess Village. These were quite fun and turned out great.

I just want to say a big thanks to all the Brides and Grooms for stepping out of the traditional wedding box and being willing to try new things. I have to say it was fun, Eh!!

ALL READY TO GO FOR THE '09 SEASON

Hi everybody,

Still going strong here with all of the weddings for '08. We have all of our new prices up and ready for '09. One of the things that we added was "Print Credits" for purchasing prints, high res DVD, albums, etc. This way you only have to buy what you want and it's already included in the price of the package. The Silver package has $1,000 credits, Gold $1,500 credits and Platinum $2,000 credits, so as you can see it's enough to purchase a lot of different products. As an example, with the Gold package, you would have enough for the high res DVD and an album, plus some creative retouched large prints. The only things you need to decide is how much coverage you want and what you want to spend your print credits on, and we can guide you though all of this.

With the video side of things each package is very inclusive as well, from all of the shooting with two or three videographers, high definition cameras, the music videos (like you see on our website), your full ceremony and reception, to the personalized custom DVD sets you recieve, you just need to decide how much coverage you want and the music you'd like for your music video and we'll do the rest.

Middle Of Summer

Hey,
Well I never expected to be this busy this year with weddings but I must say it's been crazy so far with both video and photography. This is why not too many posts lately but we are definitely having a great time and coming out with new work for both video and photography. So, go to the video section and have a look at our new videos. We've included the engagement videos as well. These are great for telling your story & showing at your reception on the big screen. These are very exciting!

We are also in the the middle of making changes to our pricing and packages for the '09 season due to high demand for our services. I apologize to any new Brides and Grooms if it's caused any confusion. Please be patient with us as we figure out the new packages for '09. One thing that we are heading for is only doing one combo package on Sat. this will include both photography and video. We will not be doing multiple weddings on Saturdays. So, in turn this means that we will spend our time with the one client that signs with us for that Saturday. You the client will have our unique creative team, undivided attention, specialized work, and our highest level of quality and commitment. We will focus solely on your custom wedding package and your special day with more creativity and the highest level of quality final product for you. This will also include scouting out new locations for the park shoot and going to unique places, so as to make each wedding unique and special, like you.

P.S. We will be doing discounted combo and single packages on Fridays, Sundays, and the off season. Don't hesitate to call/email anytime for availability or information.

OK, here it is. Finally out in the nice weather with a beautiful, fun couple. If this is a taste of what's to come this year for Aexian Studios, sign me up. Jay and I went to Sherman Falls in Ancaster with Francesca & Nick for a "Save The date" video/photo shoot. Thanks you guys for stepping out of the box and having alot of fun with us. Francesca & Nick: "Save The Date" - Photo

Last weekend Jay and I went out for a "Save The Date" engagemnet shoot with Fracesca & Nick in Ancaster. WOW, what a day. We had so much fun even with the cold water. These guys were troopers and I don't think anything was going to hold them back from getting in the water. The new camera and lenses proved to be the right way to go and the steadi-cam was working awesome. This has to be one of our best videos to date. Here's a couple photos and the video is in the next post.

Leighann & Andrew Engagement Shoot

Sorry it's taken so long to post anything but I guess with the wedding season upon us and being out doing shoots it's hard to make time to up date the blog. Cory & Marino Del Duca Winter Wedding

Getting the '08 wedding season off to a fun start. This was a beautiful winter March day, actually one week after the big storm hit, but needless to say Cory and Marino were in high spirits and alot fun to work with. Getting out our new Sony XDCAM-EX with our 35mm adaptor was to say the least "very exciting". Here is an example of Cory & Marino's wedding day with our new toys. Aexian Studios First Blog

It's A New Year. I've been working on getting this blog up pretty much the whole day. Anyway, it seems to be working now. Here we will post our new wedding videos throughout the year. This is going to be the different highlight reels from the weddings we do. We are very excited about this year because we will finally get out our new Sony XDCAM-EX camera and the Brevis 35 35mm adaptor. So, our music videos should take on a whole new look this year. We will also start posting the love story/engagement videos this year. Man, it's going to be good a year. This is also a good place to get your own ideas for your own wedding videos so keep coming back. Remember, nothing is too crazy. Let's push the envelope this year.
